BRANCHES ACCREDITATION OF REPRESENTATIONS
 
For the activity of the offshore company on the territory of any state including Russia, the great value has, whether such activity will be recognized as the permanent representation of the offshore company in tax sense, or not. Importance of this factor the given due to the reason that permanent representation of offshore company will pay all taxes established in the corresponding state for subjects of business, from the activity which is carried out on the territory of this state.
 
It is meaningful to register representation only that to those companies who require it by virtue of the specificity of business (for example, construction companies with long term projects more that three months). It is important to mention, that representations have some privileges - for example, clearing of payment of the VAT at offices rent, duty-free import of the equipment for needs of representation, etc.
 
For the accreditation the following documents are required:
  1. The Certificate of registration
  2. Article of Association
  3. The document confirming powers of directors of the company
  4. The Power of Attorney on the concrete person representing the company
  5. The inquiry on the presence of account from foreign bank.
  6. All the above-stated documents should be legalized by the Apostil or otherwise, accepted in Russia; translated to Russian and translation should be notarially certified
The branch is not a legal entity, but, unlike representation, can conduct commercial activity and pay taxes in full, as well as the Russian legal persons.
